I can’t understand why Apple has not included week numbers in iCal. Not even as an option. Well, luckily I found a php script that generates a calendar that you can import into iCal and that way get week numbers as “whole day” events. Ugly? A bit, but it might be worth it.

So the story continues… Having done the area north of Como with winding crappy Italian roads, winding great Swiss roads, snow, ice and wonderful views, it was now time for the south.
Day three was Milan Day. We ditched our car and took the train to the city for some serious shopping and sightseeing. As it turned out, we got neither.
So here we are - Milan. In about 8 hours our flight will depart back home to Helsinki after 7 days in northern Italy. I’m writing this from J’s friends’ hotel room, while waiting for them to get back from the theatre. We’ve covered a lot of ground and kilometers during these days, including a couple of visits to Switzerland. Pictures from the trip will come up in the gallery in a few days when I’m finished organizing and selecting the best of almost 700 photos…
8 hours ago, I was almost 500 km north of Helsinki, in Jakobstad spending Christmas with my parents. In about 12 hours I’ll be about 80 km east of Helsinki, in Pernå celebrating my girlfriend’s mom’s 50th birthday. In about 32 hours I’m on a plane to Milan with her, about to spend New Year’s Eve in Bologna with my sisters. In about 2 weeks we’re on a plane to Gran Canaria for the IUI 2008 conference. I’m about to live in a suitcase for almost a month.
After a long long long downtime, I’ve finally managed to get my home brewed discussion board up and running again. My friend M shouted at me on the 23rd of August at 11:52 AM that it’s throwing some kind of NullPointerException, but I didn’t have time or motivation to investigate it before today. Actually I’ve been on my way to bed for several hours already, but I just couldn’t let it be.
