Since I can’t continue as an Assistant Researcher at HIIT after I graduate as Master, I had to find myself a new job. As it turned out, this process took only a month, from submitting the application to signing the contract. So, from August 1st, I’ll be working as Front-end UI Designer at Roottori.
Now I can really start enjoying what’s left of my 7 weeks of holiday.
I did it. I finally did it. I’m done studying. All that remains is to get my diploma on June 12th.
So, bring on the job offers! I’m available from August 1st. ;)
There’s now only 1 credit unit between me and my Master’s degree. My Thesis is done and accepted, all exams are written and I just submitted an application to get my Laudatur and Other Studies entries into the register. Now there’s only a 1 cu Maths assignment left to complete. Let’s see if I manage to get it done before the end of next week…
So the story continues… Having done the area north of Como with winding crappy Italian roads, winding great Swiss roads, snow, ice and wonderful views, it was now time for the south.
Day three was Milan Day. We ditched our car and took the train to the city for some serious shopping and sightseeing. As it turned out, we got neither.

So here we are – Milan. In about 8 hours our flight will depart back home to Helsinki after 7 days in northern Italy. I’m writing this from J’s friends’ hotel room, while waiting for them to get back from the theatre. We’ve covered a lot of ground and kilometers during these days, including a couple of visits to Switzerland. Pictures from the trip will come up in the gallery in a few days when I’m finished organizing and selecting the best of almost 700 photos…
