Although the weather isn’t yet really what you would define as a sit-out-in-a-park-and-drink-wine-weather, I was on my first real spring picnic on Monday. As with all good things, this event wasn’t planned in advance.

I just witnessed a real shoplifter chase for the first time! I was out biking and passed through Hakaniemi on my way home when I heard shouting and saw two men running down the pavement. Turned out the shoplifter was thirsty since he was running away with a sixpack in his hands. The shop’s owner caught him though and a bunch of other men came to help him hold the guy while he called the police.
I didn’t stay to check out what happened, though…
As I mentioned in my last post, I had a couple of friends over for dinner yesterday. The food was good (surprisingly), the wine was easily drunk and there were plenty of hot shots. Just as we were about to go downtown to continue at Molly Malones I hear a knocking on the door.
